Description
The SDS-42 self-drilling hex-head screw eliminates the need for a pilot hole, allowing single-step fastening of galvanised duct seams, flange connections, and support brackets. The No. 3 drill point penetrates up to 2 × 1.2 mm galvanised steel, while the hex head accepts standard 8 mm socket drivers for rapid power-tool installation. A zinc flake coating provides corrosion resistance equivalent to hot-dip galvanising, maintaining the integrity of the ductwork's protective finish.
