Description
The IRD iris damper combines a variable iris aperture with an integrated differential-pressure measuring station, enabling accurate airflow measurement and regulation in a single device. By reading the differential pressure across the iris with a standard manometer, the installer can determine the actual airflow and adjust the opening to match the design value — all without additional balancing tools. The iris mechanism provides a near-circular orifice at all positions, minimising turbulence and regenerated noise.
